There are many types of fabric used in the garment market today. Fabric fibers are classified into 3 main groups based on the origin of the fabric, including: Natural fiber fabric, chemical fiber fabric and blended fabric. Each type of fabric has its own unique properties to identify them.
  • Natural fiber  fabric : is a fabric produced from natural sources such as silk fibers, wool fibers from sheep, goats, camels ... or from plants such as cotton, hemp, jute.
  • Chemical fiber fabrics:  manufactured from fibers derived from petroleum and coal fields (called chemical fiber fabrics); derived from bamboo, wood (called artificial fiber fabric).
  • Blended fabric:  is a fabric material that is woven from a combination of two or more natural and chemical fibers in a certain ratio.

How many types of blended fabrics are there? Why are mixed fabric clothes so popular?
Blended fabrics are a combination of natural and chemical fabrics. So the blended fabric is "inherited" the outstanding advantages from both these fabrics.
Natural fiber fabrics are safe for children's skin; Feeling cool, comfortable to wear. Artificial fabrics are highly durable, do not shrink, so they keep the shirt's form. The price of man-made fabric is quite ideal, not too expensive like natural fiber fabric.
Besides the advantages, natural or chemical fabrics have certain limitations. Natural fiber fabrics have poor durability, are prone to shrinkage and sagging. While chemical fabrics absorb sweat poorly. Therefore, children who wear chemical clothes are often hot and secretive. Moreover, chemical fiber fabric is also easy to irritate the delicate skin of children. Therefore, people often use blended fabrics to integrate all the advantages of natural and artificial fabrics.
Two or more fabrics are mixed in certain proportions to form a blend. Blended fabrics possess the superiority of the component fibers. Therefore, blended fabrics have many outstanding advantages over natural fabrics and chemical fabrics. Fashion products sewn from mixed fabrics are usually very durable, beautiful, colorful, less prone to wrinkles. Wear very cool, non-staining mixed fabric clothes, wash quickly and dry quickly. It is thanks to these advantages that blended fabrics are increasingly used to make clothes. Especially children's clothes.

The blended fabric market is very diverse and rich, sometimes making mothers unable to distinguish quality blended fabrics. When producing blended fabrics, only a slight margin of error is required in the standard blend ratio. Blended fabric properties will be completely different, even of poor quality.

Main types of blended fabrics:
♦ Peco blend fabric: Polyester and Cotton
Peco fabric has two main types and Tixi fabric and CVC fabric.
Tixi fabric: is a blend of 65% polyester fabric and 35% cotton fabric. Tixi fabric is durable, not wrinkled, wrinkled. The sweat absorption of PE fabric is excellent. Babies are comfortable all day thanks to PE fabric with good breathability and elasticity.
CVC fiber fabric has the main component of 65% cotton and the remaining 35% is polyester. CVC fabric is also appreciated for its softness, coolness, and very effective moisture absorption.

♦ PEVI blend fabric: Polyester + Viscose
Tetron Rayon fabric is 65% Polyester and 35% Viscose. Fiber fabrics have many outstanding advantages compared to cotton and chemical fabrics such as: good durability, easy to dye, not wrinkled, crumpled, quick to dry and clean...
The outstanding advantages have helped blended fabrics. Therefore, it is increasingly used to produce fashion products. In addition, the affordable price is also the reason why many mothers buy mixed clothes for their babies.
